Origins of the Family:
Born in Tuscany, Italy and at some point moved to France probably around 1420 (Source 2). The family has two spellings of the name:
1) Bucelly and
2) Bucelli
At some point the Bucelly family settled in the region called Languedoc which is to the south of France, bordering the Mediterranean. One of the main cities in this region is Montpellier.
